What is REAX?
REAX is the ultimate app for faceoff athletes. Designed and built by actual faceoff athletes, REAX provides the necessary tools to improve your performance at the X. Our current features include camera-based reaction detection, reaction time statistic tracking, and an auto whistle feature built for both individual and group training. Built for all ages and all experience levels, REAX strives to be the industry standard for mobile faceoff training by continuing to expand the app and its features as we grow.

What does REAX track?
REAX currently tracks your reaction times from every session, including your fastest, slowest, and average times. You can view your progress over 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, or 1 full year, all displayed on a clean visual line graph so you can see exactly where you're improving and where there's still work to do.
How does the Reaction Detection feature work?
REAX uses your iPhone's back camera to detect your movement the moment you react off the whistle. Once movement is detected, the app records your reaction time instantly. No need for additional, expensive, and inaccurate sensors. For the most accurate and consistent results, we recommend using a stable mount or the REAX Tripod Kit to keep your phone steady during sessions.
Do I need extra equipment to use REAX?
No extra equipment is required, just your iPhone. However, we highly recommend using the REAX Tripod Kit for the most accurate and consistent reaction detection sessions. It's compact, lightweight, and fits right in your pocket so it's never a hassle to bring to practice.
Why does REAX only use the back camera of my phone?
Your phone's back camera is significantly higher quality than the front-facing camera. By using the back camera exclusively, REAX is able to capture your reaction more efficiently, effectively, and consistently. Giving you the most accurate readings possible every single session.
Can I train alone with REAX?
Absolutely. REAX was designed with solo training in mind. The Auto Whistle feature calls the faceoff commands and blows the whistle for you, so you can get high quality reps in anytime, anywhere. No partner, coach, or extra equipment needed.
Is there a free trial?
Yes! REAX offers a 7-day free trial so you can experience everything the app has to offer before committing to a subscription. The free trial is available once per account, regardless of which subscription plan you choose.
